I was hoping to include more back pain related materials and links, but i tell ya… this episode of dental hell continues to my detriment.
A few weeks ago I submitted to a root canal on tooth #13. Dr W. said it was a no-brainer. The obvious cause of my dental pain. He added the permanent filling last Wednesday and it seemed fine. But over the next few days the pain got worse.
The strange sensations of tooth sensitivity, gum pain, facial sinus nerve pain only got worse. Not just around tooth #13, but on the right side of my mouth as well. It’s as if the filings in teeth #11 and #12 created a Maelstrom of hell in my mouth.
So tomorrow, bright and early I will begin to make the phone calls to several dentists. Inquiries about services. availability. costs. insurance. consultations.
Two months, over $2,000 in cost. aggravation. Trips uptown and around the city in the rain and snow. a dozen hours devoted to treatment and time spent in waiting rooms. This is a rotten taste of what my back pain odyssey was like. wish me luck.
